Shawnee Fire Station 2 Renovation

The project consisted of the rehabilitation of the existing 5,600 square foot station by partially demolishing the existing building with the exception of the foundation, slab and structural steel. The existing structure was stripped down to the bones and rebuilt to accommodate the needs of a fully-functional fire house, including a new 775 square foot addition of storage space. The new space includes a 3-truck apparatus bay, fitness center, day room, kitchen, gear storage, bunk rooms, locker rooms, and offices as well as an outdoor patio area and new entrance tower.
